Following the inauguration of the Menagen Pharmaceutical Industries plant, Dr. Hilal bin Ali Al Sabti, Minister of Health, conducted an extensive tour of the facility. Accompanied by senior officials, Dr. Al Sabti reviewed the plant’s advanced manufacturing processes and its adherence to international quality standards.
Dr. Mohammad bin Hamdan Al Rubaie, Director General of Pharmaceutical Affairs and Drug Control at the Ministry of Health, underscored the significance of the factory’s production capabilities. He noted that the facility’s focus on medications for cancer and rare diseases represents a substantial addition to Oman’s healthcare infrastructure and the broader region.
The Minister’s visit also highlighted the government’s commitment to supporting the medical industries sector, fostering an environment conducive to public-private partnerships, and advancing the nation’s pharmaceutical self-sufficiency.
